Did you actually go into any of these buildings, or did you just photograph them from the outside?

I did a lot of English history, specifically 17th century stuff, back in college. Would really like to visit the palace of Westminster if I get the chance.

Yep, we went into most of them. The first couple days I was just giving Kate the grand tour of London, so most of these are just from the outside. We didn't go into the College of Arms or Buckingham Palace, though. There just wasn't enough time to do everything we wanted to do.

These are just the initial highlights from my camera, on which there are over a thousand pictures. Kate took around five hundred, and we have a pretty good hunk of video, as well.

I'm really tired now, though. I haven't been to sleep yet tonight (last night?). I had gone to bed, but SOMEBODY needed some attention, after which I was wide awake.

Much more to come, just not right this moment.

Westminster and St. Paul's are both beautiful inside, full of things to take pictures of. Unfortunately, neither of those places allows pictures or video inside. I managed to sneak a few seconds of video of the ceiling inside St. Paul's, but the security guy got wise to me in a hurry, and I had to curtail it, so there's several minutes of footage of the inside of the camcorder bag.

:)

I'll grab some stills from that and post them once I'm done getting the highlights from my camera.

Then I'll work on Kate's camera.

After that, I'll put together a video of the best of it all and get it hosted somewhere and I'll make a DVD of it to send to my parents.

Kisses,
JanieBelle

Oh, of course that's all not including our more um.... personal pictures and video, which we kept totally separate. Fortunately, what happens in London, stays in London...well there and in our private collection, of course.
