Travel Update
Ok, just so y'all know. We're at our preplanned waystation.
We're about 500 miles from home, and spent the night with family. We're flying out to England this evening.
Kate and I really agonized over what to do about the laptop. Checking it was just more than I could bear, and carrying it on sounded like one more problem at the airport.
We've decided to travel "international light". We've left the laptop at home, and we'll be posting from whichever internet cafe tickles our fancy at the time.
Just so everyone knows what's up. We'll comment as we get time and energy, but for the most part, we'll just be posting interesting news of the day.
Pictures will probably have to wait for our return, I'm afraid.
Oh, and one more important thing:
Kate got to "fall out" for her last formation yesterday morning. It was her final "F with Kate Day" thing. She said it went well, and everyone got to give her a little good natured crapola. Her bosses were very cool for allowing her to do it early so that she could go on this trip.
